"Death" by Michael Boarman

"Death" by: Michael Boarman

Death shall bring a start to the stormy night,
sadness shall fall and make the day unfold,
it shall bring a light that is way to bright,

for he will come to get you on the flight,
to leave the box where you may lay ice-cold,
Death shall bring a start to the stormy night,

fight to again see the bright light of night,
for the stories of you life must be told,
it shall bring a sight that is way to bright,

to fight the night shall lengthen your wiry fight,
to live again and follow the stories you have told,
Death shall bring a start to the stormy night,

you must be brave to fight the battle of site,
you've fought all your life to stop the foretold,
it shall bring a light that is way to bright,

for life will end and death shall come like told,
to welcome thee in to the life of mold,
Death shall bring a start to the stormy night,
It shall bring a light that is way to bright.

Explanation:
The poem that I wrote was about fighting death and staying alive to see tomorrows sunshine. To fight to not see the white light of death and fight to see another day alive and well. It is basically a fight against death to stay alive and to tell the ones you love the stories of your life that you wish for them to know to further their lives.
